My sister Margs, her best friend Naisa and I have been planning to have waffles for the longest time. We were supposed to have them for dinner but then we decided we couldn't postpone it any longer so we decided to have lunch at iHop.

When we finally got there at around 1PM, it only took 10 minutes for us to get a table so we were ecstatic! While waiting in line, we looked at the menu deciding what we would order.
When we were finally seated, Naisa and Margs gave their orders. I have been craving for fried chicken for a few days now and that's what I decided to get. Sadly, iHop didn't have chicken. DID NOT have chicken. So with a heavy heart, I nodded and told the server to go ahead with the waffles because I still couldn't decide which I would get.
When the server came back with out service water, I told her that I decided on the appetizer sampler, and again... I was told that it was not available. Basically, all the dishes that had chicken in the menu was not available because they didn't have chicken in stock. (WTF?) They are barely open for 2 months and they were already out of chicken? Then the server told us that they haven't served chicken ever since they opened.
So... I decided to just get waffles instead. 20 minutes later, the manager of the restaurant approached our table and asked us if it was ok to replace the Belgian Waffles with whole wheat because they didn't have ingredients anymore for the regular waffles, so we were like "umm... no?" and the manager gave us the most generic, over used excuse of all time: THE DELIVERY IS STUCK IN CUSTOMS.
It would have been OK if the manager was a little bit more apologetic and courteous, instead, he gave us attitude, and insinuating that if we didn't like it, we could just leave. He didn't even apologize! THE NERVE. We left as unsatisfied customers. Total Fail.
That's when we decided to go for MAPLE. Naisa heard about this new place that just opened by Pancake House. We were all a little bit skeptic at first but we really wanted waffles! So we headed to San Antonio Plaza and took a chance.
